I have been signed off work after being carted into hospital in the summer when a pre-op assessment showed up some heart abnormalities. They thought I was having a heart attack (I felt pretty normal to be honest). 3 days later the hospital release me from the cardic care unit with a list of appointments to attend for scans etc. As part of my claim for Employment Support Allowance I visited a nurse yesterday to get my condition assessed. She was very sympathetic and gave some sound advice. One thing she said interested me: according to her if your body is out of kilter (which it will be with my vital signs, apparently) it will put your blood sugars up. Do any of the lovely readers of this forum have a similar condition? I would be very grateful to swap notes. Fortunately my condition is very treatable, but I am just having to sit in the queue until the cardiomyopathy clinic send me an appointment. Getting a little impatient because I love being about and about doing stuff. Thanks in advance. P
