Well, 5 years ago today, i came home at 6.30pm to find mum unconscious at the bottom of the stairs. She was cold and well out of it and spent over 2 months in hospital with a brain haemorrhage. Dont know whether it caused or was caused by the fall. She is a tough old bird though, refused any follow up consultation with anyone at the hospital after her 'recovery' and is still there and aware although the both of us have gone through some rough times together. She developed T2 whilst in hospital, me nearly 5 years later. That day, i came home from work a couple of hours early, dont know why, something just made me. Seems like yesterday.

Hi.
Thank goodness you heard and sensed your 6th sense? [telepathy at work ? gut instinct reaction ? ]
Returning home earlier to be able to act promptly with your poor mum.
Thank goodness she has such a caring son like you.
So glad to hear your mum has rallied back from what was an awful and must have been frightening expereince.
Sounds like her strength of spirit helped her fight her way back...
Time flies by dos'ent it and when we look back - we see how far we have travelled.
No wonder the 5years ago may now feel it was like it could have happened yesterday.
Much love and thoughts to both you and your wonderful mum.
Anna.

Sounds as though you are lucky to have each other Andy, I firmly believe that we do sense sometimes when there is something wrong.
Good job you felt it that day.

Hi Andy,

Good job your six sense was at work that day. Sounds like you and your Mum are close and lucky to have each other.

I have had several incidents where I have known about something happening before I was actualy told.

Thank you for all your kind comments.
I have experienced this 'deja vu' quite often. Many times i have returned home early to find my dogs on the point of escaping, did this the other day, or i have gone to a spot where i hoped they would be and found them and also have come home and stopped a minor matter becoming a major one with mum when normally i wouldnt be at home. I do think there is something in it.
Anyway, alls well at the moment except problems with one of my old Citroens playing up. She is at a garage having major heart surgery and keeps springing water leaks, just dosnt want to come home[lol]. Its the cars and the moths which keep me sane.

**** lucky you did come home early. No ifs, or buts, that saved her life.
Actually bud,

i think you are right there. Ambulance guys said that she was so cold she wouldnt have lasted much longer but maybe this helped re her recovery.
Anyway, its been hard this last 5 years but still coping.
