As an initial step you might want to buy some, Tesco and Morrison's among others sell it. Get the frozen sachets which you just microwave for 3 mins.

Have tried a ready made brand that I found in Aldi, just pop it in the microwave for a minute or so. It's cauliflower, so why wouldn't it be OK to eat? If you're thinking about the taste, it's different to normal rice of course but it's OK.
