Hi I have had diabetes insipidus for nearly ten years but am recently dx with type 2. I'm on metformin slow release. My question is. With central di I have to be very careful about salt levels in my blood but the metformin is chloride and tastes very salty as I swallow it. Is it likely to do me harm?
My pancreas is damaged due to histiocytosis.
