CGM device trial- FreeStyle Libre

Anyone participating in the FreeStyle Libre trial and could give feedback on how the trial is progressing?

How near are Type 1s at getting a CGM device on the NHS.

It is almost a year since this trial has started, let us hope we can all get access to this device if we want one.

People have been using this for around 3 months.
Take a look at the very long "Freestyle Libre On Sale" thread in the Type 1 forum.

Thanks for pointing me to that tread where those trialing the device are sharing their experiences.

From what I read it looks as if it will be a few years before one is available on the NHS.

They would have to resolve all the teething problems they are experiencing for the NHS to approve funding, but hopefully one day the Libre will become available on prescription.

yeah I am sure something will happen soon with the like of Apple getting involved in monitoring.
