Hey guys
Been a while since I've been on
been a very stressful couple of weeks :|
Today, Finally my DSN has put me on the CGM for the Veo (OK only for the duration of my pregnancy but its still for 21 weeks... ) due to my horrendous nighttime hypos. waking up with 3 paramedics in your bedroom as glucogon does not work is an interesting experience however it showed how bad my hypos were and she finally agreed today we need to monitor it...
I'm not expecting much but if the hypos continue like this after baby is born I am hoping it will be funded long term (and the hypo's are not just pregnancy related, I've always had severe nighttime hypos, even when I was a child... i remember once coming round and id half bitten my tongue off - got me a couple of days off school  )
