Chacot foot

Hi, i have very recently been diagnosed with chacot foot and have been told to expect 6 -18 months recovery, if i have my foot in a leg brace for this amount of time, can anyone offer any advice on a quick recovery or is this is what to expect?

Convention is that depending on the location and severity of your Chacot Foot total healing can take up to 1 -2 years, sooner if immobilisation is total combined with effective vascular and blood glucose control. If you don't mind me asking what symptoms did you present?

Hi mcmoggy261, 4 weeks ago i sprained my ankle, or so i thought. my foot got worst than better, painful, swollen and red and very warm. i'm now waiting for a MRI scan, i've been signed of work as i was deemed as being a health & safety risk.

hi, can anyone help, as above, but today received my x ray results that confirms i have 2 fractures on my foot, i am still waiting for my a MRI scan and now also a CT scan. do still assume i have chacot foot? how is this confirmed?
