champix and metformin

starting champix today (im reacting to other NRT)
can i take with metformin? as they both need to be taken with food

it was the smoking nurse and top smoking nurse, my notes and meds were checked and was decided it was fine to take them
im not on them now as smoked more on them than i did with the patch so now on the patch only and will use my ecig when i can

back on patches now
cold turkey was suggested but theres no way i could do that.........my moods can go from good to nasty fast as it is
 
Used champix before with metformin ..no problems. ..champix did cause nausea feeling the first week
