Hi guys I have a new Tee2 blood sugar monitor and a boots one. I purchased Tee2 for economical reasons. up to today I have been using the boots monitor. however following lunch after 2 hrs I carried out a Blood sugar test . boots read 5.4 and the Tee2 read 6.4. i did carry out a couple more tests on the T2 with different reading between 5.6 and 6. these at 3pm

coming in from work again I carried out blood sugar tests between lunch and now i have had some sugar free polos which do have a carb count. I believe I had between 5-10g carb. blood tests at 6pm were exactly the same.

Any ideas please of differences in monitor reading ! to be honest I have recorded 5.9 somewhere in between.

I am not to worried overall as even 6.4 is slowly coming down

many thanks

I'm afraid that most of us have learnt the lesson of get a meter and stick to it.. they all vary quite a bit. Even the same blood on the same meter can exhibit quite a variance.. look at long term trends more than trying to be too precise with single readings.
