Has anyone any experience of fine wavy black lines moving about whole eye a week after a VEGf injection to stabilise weak blood vessel growth (after a vitreous haemorrhage from an artery at the back of the eye)?

At my last diabetic eye screening (50 years with diabetes) I was told I had no signs of retinopathy that needed treating but a "veinal occlusion" that i was going to be referred for. About a week later as I walked down the road I suddenly had a dark green/ red shape across my right eye so I guessed what this was and contacted 111 for advice, was sent off to A & E, the Eye clinic, back to a community opthalmologist for photos and preliminary examination. Quite a run around, but only about ten minutes wait at each place so not bad!

I had a proper exam at the eye clinic at the hospital (Arrowe Park, Wirral) and was told my retinas were good (for 50 years with diabetes!) but they would do a course of VEGf inhecti9ns and review.

Before the injection of VEGF, the vision in my right eye was about two thirds clear, with a large shaded area where the blood had settled. It remained the same for about a week after the injection, then suddenly I had lots of black wavy lines moving all over my eye, making my vision less clear. I did contact the urgent eye care for advice, had more photos etc done which went to the eye clinic who rang back and said "it was as expected ,after the injection" but to come to A&E if it went opaque or was like a spider's web.

As this is all new to me I'm not sure how to interpret these visual disturbances. I'm hoping the lines are just remains of blood swirling around and then clearing.

Apologies for this very long winded post!

My question is - has anyone else had these wavy lines after a VEGF injection (or post bleed)?
Are they concerning or part of the recovery process?
