Type 2 Changes to my hair

Since being on metformin ive struggled to keep my hair clean, it literally gets greasy within about 10 hours of washing it, its also gone thin, should I be worried or is this a side affect?

Found this comment on line so suggest you ask your Doctor I am going Bald and thought it was old age
Research supports the fact that women with insulin resistance are at risk of hair loss - so it's certainly worth discussing this possibility with your doctor if your hair loss is unexplained.
