Changing clinics

I am in the process of trying to change clinics. My GP has made a referral. The new clinic is being helpful, but is concerned that there may be problems transferring NHS funding. I have looked this up and it said that NHS services are funded based on the GP registration not on the specific clinic. It's the same ICB so the funding should transfer through the same system. Does anyone know if this is right/ have experience of this? Thanks.
