I ate at Chao Baby restaurant in the Trafford Centre Manchester at the weekend. Of the below dishes, which would you go for if you were Type 2 or Prediabetic?
To my chefs eye they all look like they have added sugar - there is probably a lot of hidden sugars in there, I stick to steak, dry grilled meats, salad, buttered veggies, no sauces but ask for butter/Mayo or EVOO unless it's a chain and I can see a nutritional guide, or in an independent eatery I ask what's exactly in it - there's also quite a bit of veg there whilst veg is good if your very strict keto it can stack up pretty quickly

Just seen it's a Thai restaurant- they tend to put sugar in sugar lol - I haven't Thai food since diagnosed 10 years ago - imho it's the worst cuisine for hidden sugars - I used to love Thai too
