Chest pains

Right I have been battling chest pain for 16 years, yet my father had it some 40 years ago and eventually Weymouth hospital put him on Porcine. Now, after many years of diabetic "specialists saying it is not the insulin", YES IT BLOODY WELL IS. I gave up having a jab and also eating and bliss no chest pains! However, after a brainstorm with a doctor started an antihystermine called Aerius or desloratydine. That stopped it; at first. After 9 years it came back, however I am now on Desloratydine 2 times a day. I have also contacted Novo. I have also discovered that in the EU no one wants to believe it, BUT in the US it is known and about 500 in 18000 have this problem both type 1 and 2 (I am type 2 so was my dad)
I have again contacted Novo and this time they have responded. So contact the supplier, Livemir is the same as far as chest pains go. I use Novo30Mix.

Hi I do not know, BUT it seems that I am not the only one. I have now CONFIRMED that it is some sort of allergy but it seems normal allergy tests do not pick it up, still just go and see your pharmacy, the anti histermine is freely available and it will cost very little BUT do see your quack and let him know, Also when you get the pain, do a BP test, I bet you will find it is in the realm of bloody frightening, I did 250+ /200+ !!!! my doctor at the time was frightened for me sent me to ED wanted to do an ambulance. It is now confirmed my pain is under control. The test for a control are less than the bus fare to the doctor! PS if you have sticky finger or frozen shoulder then take either Vitamin B12 or maramite. It took 5 years to get doctors here to believe THAT. They now do.

Only 3 times, no problem there then how about 3 in the last month, 3 days in the cardio ward, tests at the local heart hospital, and about 100 visits by ambulance and hospital ED and even an attack whilst visiting a patient in a totally separate hospital. All said it was not the heart nor was it due to "normal" things, BUT on the heart testing thing they could "see" the pains! 16 years of this! And now so much better. It also seems that it may be the long duration stuff in the Novo30 as the pain comes on some 2-3 hours after the injection. NOW all I have to find out which food or drug is sending me to sleep. I have stopped breads with wheat in to a greater extent. Certainly wheat has a major influence, and hard wheat at that. So blended whiskys knock me out but malted rye does not! Calva does not. (drink gets into the system quicker than food!) But foods that supposedly have no wheat, eggs, bacon, peppers, olive oil, and a veggie only pate also seem to knock me out but I do take some other medications!

I am told every time you get pains you must call for help especially as BP goes through the roof! The antihistamine seems to help. The doctor some years ago had an idea. However oh no the pain has been "seen" on heart tests, they are aware it is NOT heartburn as it can be around the left side but sort of on the surface, it seems to spread to the back, the left arm sometimes and the neck. If it happens and it had got to the point of everyday that about 2 hours after the injection, even if asleep, the pain was enough to wake me. When you consider that due to a serious back injury I am on serious pain killers, to wake me and effectively screw my life up it is serious. As for ignoring it, try a 56lb weight on your foot and then run for a bus. Not possible. Kick up with your doctors, explain that you may as well be brown bread if the pain does not allow you to walk, pick up things, and be in pain. The doctors are coping out. As stated it has taken 16 years to get here. My father had it and it took him a while but Wymouth put him on porcine which stopped it. Write to the Insulin makers, eg Novo, or Lilley whichever. However if you can do my test, do not eat for a couple of days and do not have any or only very little insulin! See if the pains go. The medical proffession CANNOT argue with that.

I am type 2 but system insists I am 1 however, mine goes right back to 2001. At Rennes Hospital first injection of Novomix type I had problems, same with Lilley Livemeir after 3 weeks was in heart hospital pains could be observed. Apparently!!! Had allergy tests, nothing had BP of 250/200 after about 2 hours after eating(insulin) Have serious problems with metformin. It is definitely not stress. As for not taking the insulin and not eating, your doctor does not want you to find the truth. THAT is what the doctors told me to try to eliminate the problem. And so now we are certain. The money that has been spent on hospitalisation for me will possibly equate to many thousands, all because of a failure to accept the problems. With my father having this some 40+ years ago how many millions have been wasted! I have had idiots saying panic attack (started when I first took insulin) funny my fathers "panic attacks" were cured with porcine. Indigestion does not show up with a BP of 250 over 200 suddenly starting about 2 hours after taking the insulin. It has to now be accepted. It is the same with the B12 thing NOW after about 10 years of telling the hospital that it was discovered in the US and they tested many patients and even had one client about to go under the knife for sticky finger suddenly cured with a pot of marmite.
Now with a very cheap antihistamine my problem is magically reduced. How does an antihistamine stop panic attacks and stop BP things. The test is simple, antihistamine will not kill but a quick test may help.

Oh just a point, it may take 5 days before the Aerius totally works.
