Hi. I am the Mum of a 5 year old boy who needs to carry adrenaline injectors with him everywhere - school to afterschool to home to birthday party etc. Does anyone know if there is a Child-proof but not Adult-proof bag on the market? He has already 'tried out' one of the injectors when his teacher wasn't looking!
Sorry - I know its not a diabetic question but I figured mums of children with insulin must have dealt with this problem.
I've never seen one so I don't know if it'd be appropriate or how secure it is.
If it was me, I'd stress to the party hosts to keep the injector pen up high or put somewhere where children couldn't get to it. Or to be extra safe you could do both - use a locked bag but store away from inquisitive little hands!
