Chocolate marquise recipe

Hi all, I have house guests for this coming bank holiday and one has diabetes. I am OK with starters and mains but am struggling to find a good alternative to chocolate marquise (a favourite pre diabetes!) - does anyone have a diabetic friendly marquise recipe or a suitable alternative idea please!! honestly, it's a minefield out there for people who don't have diabetes so don't fully understand but want to be diabetic friendly for guests!!!!

The only thing in a marquise that is a problem for diabetics is the sugar, just replace the sugar with the appropriate amount of your sweetener of choice, ok it has chocolate in too but if use use a good dark 90% choc it won't be too bad as long as you don't go mad  (I think Linda's 90% is 14g carb per 100g but that's off the top of my head so don't rely on that!)

How about a mousse, no sugar, just eggs and chocolate, served with raspberries or strawberries.

thank you so much for the replies -
a marquise for those that don't know is a very rich chocolate, cream and egg dessert ( like a ganache). Totally indulgent and a real wow factor for dinner parties. Served with light raspberry coulis (no added sugar as the tartness compliments the marquise) it is a chocolate lovers heaven!! hence my problem - my house guest adores chocolate but is now diabetic and I just wanted to serve a dessert that showed care and consideration.

I honestly had no idea that chocolate was OK if in small portions and max cocoa content. substituting sugar is no problem either - question is which substitute would the forum recommend - splenda or truvia??

I take it that double cream is also OK - once again, the dessert would only be served in small portions as it truly is very rich but definitely hits the chocolate craving spot!

I use Splenda but that's just personal taste, I find truvia has a nasty after taste, although it may be ok with the strong choc, make sure you read the box as they are not weight for weight with sugar - it tells you on the box of Splenda the equivalent measure for sugar - personally I always add a little less as I find it sweeter.

Enjoy your weekend :)
