Cholesterol test ... NOT!!

I went for my 3 month HbA1c test this morning. The nurse said there wasn't a form filled in to sanction a cholesterol test. I asked if it could be done and she said not because my DN had noted the last result of 4.5 wasn't a problem.
How could I say "oh please to the test because I've been on a LCHF regime since then and I want to see the results." ?? I'm not seeing my nurse until the 27th but I'll discuss it then.
I might go to the pharmacy at a big tesco and get a quick overall reading. Soooooo annoying!

Your nurses are strict. My family has an inherited faulty gene and when I asked if my nurse would add a PSA test into my annual tests, she just wrote it on the form. No consultation with my GP and no questions asked.
