Re: choestrel

Low fat is the conventional information. It works indifferently.
What actually DOES work well is a low carb diet. Read Gary Taubes on the subject.

Reduce your carbohydrate intake:

Eating fewer carbohydrates should reduce the quantity of fatty acids in your blood-stream:

Hello springer I found out, 2 weeks ago, my cholestrol was also 5.2, higher than previously, but my dr explained this morning that I have a higher rate of the 'good fats'? and he said it works out at 3.1. He also talked of taking statins, but he didn't say it was advisable for me to go them just yet, when I have the next blood test, then we could discuss it.

The best way, for anyone, is a lower fat diet and plenty of exercise. I hope you find something that works for you.r
