soaps on telly and people talking about the characters as if they were real.
As regular members know, I'm a low carber. Howeverr I'm not a saint and do slip off the wagon occasionally.
Today is T1 husband's birthday and I took the family to the local Toby carvery for lunch. I pushed the bost out a bit.I had a starter of Chicken tikka with mini poppadums and then I had turkey, I SMALL yorkshire pudding,1 piece of potato and loads of other veggies ANd gravy.NO dessert :evil: I just did a check :-4.5. I am chuffed. And I didn't even take a Metformin. Maybe after all this effort for a couple of years, I'm getting less resistant. I wish now, I knew wha my starting point was.
 
Yes this happens to me sometimes, I also blame the reduced insulin resistance. Probably also you've learned how to dose the carbs/fat/protein for minimal spikes
