According to the book called "Vinegar 1001 Practical Uses" vinegar, like apples, should be consumed daily The book states that apple cider vinegar is very effective on detoxifying various organs in the body, together with the blood stream. It can also aid digestion and in neutralises toxic substances. I suffer from kidney stones and in another book I've read; "Vinegar, a guide to the many types and their uses around the home" it also recommends taking a teaspoonful of vinegar in water every day to help dissolve excess calcium and allow the kidneys to remove the matter easily through the urinary tract. These are my main reasons for taking cider vinegar daily, if it does reduce my BG, which I'm convinced it does, then that to me is an added bonus Nigel. :D Bottom line for me is this, before taking cider vinegar daily my BG reading first thing in the morning was always higher than my previous reading just before I went to bed and cugila and others have explained to me the reasons for this (liver dump, etc). Now that is no longer the case it must surely be counteracting these organ purges that take place when we sleep. :?
