claiming VAT

I have macular Odema and need Lucentis injections, its not available on NHS so I am having to pay £1350 per injection. Does anyone know if I can claim the VAT back like on test strips, blood pressure monitors etc.

Apparently there is a new NICE guideline expected in Feb 2013 which could bring this into the NHS ring: :thumbup:

I believe you can do this - if the stuff's for personal use then it's VAT free. I've currently no experience of doing this though. I've been told that for CGM sensors you fill in a form from the seller & send it back to them, and after this they don't charge you.
