Is there any relation ship between food Calories and blood sugar. If yes could please share the information.

No direct relationship between calories and blood sugar - except that eating too many calories will make us fat, and too much internal fat around our organs - liver and pancreas - interferes with insulin production and how it is used. It's perfetly possible for apparently slim people to have too much internal fat.

I'm Type 2. A Type 2 diabetic needs to eat healthily while avoiding too much carbohydrate. Carbohydrate is metabolised directly into blood sugar, so if we control our carbohydrate intake it's better for our blood glucose levels.

Type 1s can cover the carbohydrate with insulin, but as far as I understand it, controlling carbohydrate means that less insulin is needed. Too much insulin can also make you fat. I hope a Type 1 will come along to give you more experienced help than I can. At least I've bumped your post up by trying to answer!

A bit simplistic, but that's about it.
