Cleansing wipes

Evening all!

I want to use a cleansing wipe to clean my fingertip before I stab it but I'm not sure if alcohol or alcohol free ones are better. Will the alcohol ones affect the result?

I've found boxes of them on ebay (can they be bought in chemists?) and the alcohol free ones are (as usual) more expensive. Any help gratefully received!!

I never use cleansing wipes, just wash my hands with soap and water. If I can't wash my hands then I just wipe my fingers with water.
