Sometimes I think there should be a clinic where as a diabetic we could stay a bit like when a drug addict goes to stay in re-hab. Where a team of people/experts could help you get back on track with low carb diet and cooking and getting blood sugars back in control . As often I find it all so difficult. Some real help and support would be very useful. When I read through people's posts on here it seems that on the whole your all handling everything really well. Then I feel like I'm the only one struggling. I'm finding my diabetics really hard to handle and I want to do well I'm just not sure how? Does anyone else ever feel like this?

Short answer- yes. I think drs try to create the impression that of bgs are not immaculate we are the exception to everyone else's control in a ridiculois attempt to motivate us! What about a clinic run by people with diabetes for health professionals to attend to learn some basics and work on their patient skills:smile:
