Cod Liver oil supplements

As you can see at the bottom of each post I make, I am Vit D deficient and on Adcal D3 caplets. I thought they might help with the chronic fatigue that has plagued me for years - they didn't! I have started to add cod liver oil supplements to my daily and growing supplement regime and - they work!! I feel better today, and not nearly so exhausted. The container says to take one, I take two. If you are like me, this old fashioned and simple remedy, may just be your answer. :D

I'm a big fan of Cod liver Oil having taken it for the last 21 years :)

It's best in the liquid form taken off a spoon as rather than the capsule form, I use Seven Sea's High Strength and take 10ml a day.

As I've said before, I don't think you are on enough Vitamin D (I'm on two Calcichew D3 Forte a day plus two sprays of Dlux). It took about a month before I started feeling a bit better from the chronic fatigue. I've lost the letter that told me what my vitamin D levels were. I also take cod liver oil capsules.

I agree, I don't think my levels of Adcal are high enough either, hence the CLO. I did feel a little better yesterday, actually, I felt quite a lot better, not so today. My eyes are stinging, and I just want to lie down and sleep, but haven't. Also, sadly, my appetite today has plummeted again. What a rollercoaster ride this is. Even my BG's have been slightly raised today.

Just wondering if there is an alternative to Cod Liver oil that does the same thing and doesn't cost a fortune?

I am allergic to all fish and seafood but could really do with something that would have the same effects. Any ideas?

Flaxseed oil has similar health benefits to CLO.
