Crowds of people, my idea of hell would be a huge gathering of any sort!

Heights, scare me to death!
Liars, cheats. poseurs, any kind of violence, thieves and people who take advantage of others.

The way the world is going to hell in a handbasket.

Global warming, the melting ice caps, whaling..I mean what for?!

Cruelty

Having to give up my eat everything philosophy..and I really really dislike consequences.
Does anyone know if coffee affects bg? Only ask as I love my one coffee in the morning. I know about the dawn phenomenon and wonder if it can affect that too.

Thank yooooooooooooo :D

Apart from the milk in the coffee? A latte will affect my BG and even for a cappuccino I need about half a unit of insulin. If it's just black coffee with a splash of milk, I can ignore it.

Caffeine can raise some people's blood sugar, as it looks a bit like adrenalin to your body chemistry.

Sorry forgot to mention that I don't have milk in coffee anymore. I have one lovely coffee with a tiny bit of cream first thing and I have never taken sugar in anything not even as a child. So, I was more thinking just about coffee itself. I know there are no carbs in cream and if I had it black would it affect my BG I wonder. :)

In that case (no milk, no sugar, little cream) there should be no BG increase unless you have the adrenalin-like reaction to caffeine, or the other possibility would be a dairy allergy (to the splash of cream). But with luck you will see no rise at all. I get a small BG rise sometimes from a diet coke. Are you seeing any actual BG rise? Maybe just test it and see.
