I have been wondering if coke zero can be consumed by diabetics? I didn't try it myself afraid that it might spike my sugar level. Anyone have tested this before and is it safe to drink?

It's ok in moderation ...but jury's out on the artificial sweeteners they use, how about soda water with freshly squeezed citrus juices

Perfectly fine, don't drink much of the stuff nowadays but never noticed any effect on bg levels.......enjoy!!!!!

Some can, but many can't. I would go nowhere near that rubbish as I know it would zoom me. Try it and test ... one size doesn't fit all

It doesn't, t spike me. Try a can and see

Hi @nicktan147
I drink Coke Zero and have no problems with it. If in doubt try one and measure it but it had little impact on my BG.

Hi I know we are all different but I drink Zero coke in small quantities EG: I keep a bottle in the car if I get thirsty, and I have the odd half a can maybe once a week. I can tolerate that amount.

Well I have had bad reactions to sweeteners in the past because I drank far too many diet drinks for far too long. I am convinced they helped me on my way to becoming T2. I very rarely drink them now. On the odd occasion I do (maybe once a year on holiday) I find that Coke Zero and Pepsi Max are OK for me.

I am ok on it but you will need to test to be sure.

I don't have any problems with it but as has been pointed out you need to check.
