Cold feet

I have not had my diabetic review for over a year in Weymouth as there are no staff to carry it out at my local health centre, My question is both my feet are always very cold , even in socks and shoes I also have severe pins and needles type effect under my toes on both feet making it difficult to walk first thing in the morning , and causing constant discomfort I am now getting very concerned about this what should I do ??
 
If I was in your position I would
1. Make an appointment with my GP to discuss your feet. At this stage yu do not know if it os related to your diabetes.
2. Insist upon a diabetes review. With diabetes you are at risk of complication so should have regular checks/tests (e.g. kidney function and cholesterol). If these are not done you could become very ill and cost the NHS more. This kind of review does not require a diabetes specialist - kidney problems are kidney problems regardless of diabetes
 
I’d go to your GP. They can carry out the check or organise one as well as providing the necessary advice. Good luck!
 
Make an appointment with either Dr or nurse for a diabetic review.
 
Freezing feet (though without pain) was my only 'symptom' before diagnosis. I had put it down to just getting older but couldn't understand why it was happening even in summertime. The good news is that once I got my bg levels down the cold faded away. If T2 is the cause of your discomfort you may want to look at your levels with a view to improving them but as of necessity you need to see a professional because not everything we experience can be attributed to Diabetes. Please do not suffer in silence, see your GP.
 
Thanks for all the help guys, it’s difficult to get to my GP for a review the nurse normally does it and she left, same as nurses are not allowed to do blood pressure ,only the Dr can do it , if you can get an appointment. My last blood test was Oct 10 2018 with Haemoglobin being borderline at 60, [equals 7.6% old units](metformin was increased to 1500 sr a day) PSA was 1.4 and Cholesterol was 3.9, but I’m recently on bisoprolol after triple bypass so my heart is slowed down, I also had the vein top to ankle removed so blood flow to my left foot is reduced, but both my feet are constantly cold, I am trying to get see my GP as I type
