Cold feet!

I have suffered with extremely cold feet for as long as I can remember and my feet feel like ice right at this very moment! (Reason for typing this lol) Is this normal or should I worry about having cold feet all the time?? Even with socks/slippers on my feet never feel warm afterwards!!
 
Have you discussed the issue with your medical team?

I've got cold feet caused by diabetic neuropathy which is nerve damage to the feet. I use Zostrix which is a cream with capsaicin (.075%). It's recommended to be applied to the feet three times per day for neuropathy. It works for me.
 
Yes, I get cold feet too and hands. It's more in my toes and fingers, at times they can be really painful and not matter how many pairs of socks I put on they are still cold too and it happens in in the summer. I have mentioned this on several times to my GP and the surgeries nurse, but they just fob me off. I have now noticed that the tips of my toes and fingers are red, do you get this too? I am going to try and get some help with my diabetes from a proper diabetic nurse and I am going to mention this to them.
 
Sometimes cold feet are due to an underactive thyroid. As others have said though best get it checked out by your GP as could be a number of things.
 
I do get redness when my hands and feet are cold but it does come and go. I've got an appointment with my diabetic doctor next month so will definitely mention it to them then! Thanks
