Cold weather - hypos

It is the fifth time that I notice a sudden increase in the effect of insulin, thus a lot of lows, while the weather is getting significantly colder for a few days. Then I notice that when the heat comes back the sensitivity to insulin increases back...

I am on humalog and levemir.

Anyone noticed that ?

Yes indeed, due to the hot weather I've had to reduce my basal rates over the last couple of weeks and expect to increase them again when the weather gets cooler.

Maybe I was not clear; I am actually doing the opposite as for me cold = less insulin needed.
