Hi guys,
I've had a cold for the past couple of days and it seems much, much worse than anything I've had before - sinus, neck pain, couple of faints and my nose is dripping uncontrollably (sorry!). Just back from the chemist where they recommended sudafed. The pharmacist sat me down with a glass of water and told me to take a tablet then and there.
It's not the flu and it doesn't seem to have increased my blood glucose levels much so don't want to bother GP. My question is this - do you find colds are worse with diabetes?
I don't know whether to rest in bed or plough on as I usually would.
Diet only, diagnosed in July and any tips from fellow diabetics much appreciated!
