Coming off insulin

How low would your insulin doses be before you could consider going back on tablets TIA
 
I think stay on insulin..it works and has the lest side effects [other than hypo of course]
are you low carb, you may be able to get to just metformin [another good drug]
 
Thanks guys but what if your on glargine and novo rapid how likely is it to get back on tablets
 
depends how many carbs you are eating and how much belly fat you have, if you are low carb and skinny now...not much of a chance

good chance of getting your novo right down with low carb, and your basal with weight loss
