complicated type 1

Has anyone been diagnosed as a complicated type 1? I've had diabetes for two years and this week git told by my consultant I'm a complicated type 1 any one else heard of this?
 
Why did the consultant say this?
 
Yeah they had some trouble deciding if I was type 1 or 2 been treated for type 2 but medication was not working so back on insulin and type 1

All your consultant had to do was an anti body test, then you and he would have the answer. Sounds as if you are a 1.5 but only guessing from the limited info.
 
I knew in myself I was type 1 I had all the symptoms just glad to finally be back on insulin...time to look after myself
