Complications with type 2

I've was diagnosed with type 2 3 months ago, I've been so anxious lately as my toes are slightly numb on my left leg and it's affecting my leg as in I can't walk fast or as far as I used to, my leg almost gives way, in fact, I have fallen over a couple of times. My foot seems to drag a little and I'm walking on the left side of my foot which is a bit uncomfortable. I have a diabetic review in a fee days, I'm asking the forum if anyone else has experienced what I've described above and if it's caused by my diabetes? Tia

We can't diagnose on here and though it could be caused by your diabetes there are plenty of other possible causes. Please please please tell your GP about all your symptoms so that they can consider all the possibilities.

Good luck, I hope your doctor gives you some clarity and looks into your symptoms.
 
@Teessideguy66 , I hope you will heed the advice to discuss all your symptoms with your GP.
Please can you confirm you have recently been diagnosed, because your previous posts seem to suggest otherwise. You said you were in remission in 2019. What has been going on since then, regarding blood tests, HbA1c, diet, medication, etc?
 
Hi. I actually went to the doctor yesterday about my toe feeling numb. She said that FOR ME it has been caused by diabetes. I have some painkillers to take as it can be painful.
Mine isn't anything to be worried about at the moment but I have to keep an eye on it.
But I need to stress that this is me and I can't tell you if yours is the same as mine. You need to speak to the doctor. Take care.
