Hi all.
Ok, so after 6 years of poor control, Hba1c's of 8
I started studying low carb/nutrition/normal blood glucose readings. Put everything in to practice. A1c down to 7.5 six months ago, went back to clinic recently & am now down to 5.6, very pleased.
No complications as of yet except a very small change to retinal screening last year (due another at the end of Oct)
However my question is: will the complications that haven't showed yet all of a sudden catch up with me even though things are going a lot better, or does it not work that way? Like, if they havent yet showed, they may not? I worry they are their, but are hidden if you like.
Thank you!
