You don't have to convince me about the benefits of walking @Mark14400 It's my favourite form of exercise I completely agree that it's a real de-stresser
For your morning walk, you could experiment with walking before eating, or reducing your bolus or adding a few more carbs to,your breakfast, or various top up,snacks to see what works for you. I use glucose tablets on walks and just eat one or,two as needed.
I agree with @noblehead that the pump is useful,for exercising. I love my pump Some pumps can support a CGM (you usually have to pay for,that yourself) and that might be something you could look into if you're interested.
My HbA1C is roughly the same now as when I was on MDI A pump is useful but it doesn't improve HbA1C necessarily. That's down to hard work - whether pumping or on MDI

Right But claiming my HbA1C was due to my pump was inaccurate. Sadly, they're not magic and still require a lot of work by the pump user to get good control.
