Confused again

Ok, so I knew that my blood sugars where up earlier in the week so I have corrected my diet but tonight I’m confused. I had a small evening meal at 7 about 15g of carbs. Before eating blood sugar was at a nice 5.6 and an hour later I tested and it was at 7.7 which I though was high for what I eat. 2 bacon, 2 eggs some tomatoes. So I decided to take a bath and read and relax. 4hrs later off to bed and it’s up at 8.9, really wasn’t expecting that and have tested twice on different hands just to be sure.

Any ideas?
 
I’d say the tomatoes and/or a hot (?) bath. Or just a blip
