Confused as to what is normal ??

I have been diagnosed for about a month at first my bloods were 18 mmol I am taking 2000 mg of metformin a day tonight my blood is 5.7 3-4 hours since food is that normal ??
 
Between 4 and 7 is normal, the average of that is 5.5 so i'd say 5.7 is very good.
I'm also on 2000mg metformin which is slowly bringing the levels down from 11.7 when first diagnosed back in July
