was diagnosed 18 months ago was told i am type two. i also have Addisons disease where the common thing is that people with Addisons get type1 diabetes. i was called to hospital last week to see the doctor out of the blue who then told me that my thyroid has gone underactive and he made a staement if he wasnt mistaken i should be on insulin. does this now make me type 1?

I would have thought the best thing to do is to clarify this with your doctor Robbie.
What I can tell you for sure is that just because you may be put on insulin, that doesn't necessarily mean you have type 1, plenty of type 2's use insulin.
