Confused what type I am :/

I got diagnosed with type 2 diabetes about 8 years ago.. The tablets stopped working an I've now bin put on insulin injects (just insulin injections) well does this mean I am now type 1 as ppl have told me I am an others say no :/ I'm confused ...

probably still type 2 and your pancreas has reduced the amount of insulin you are producing or your resistance has increased so you need a lot more

Type doesn't really matter, you're an insulin dependant diabetic.

Ano it dnt matter jst where filling in forms is concerned lol.. It's jst all new to me injecting myself an finding it real hard to deal with an the confusion ...
