Hi everyone I was diagnosed with type2 last. November but I have seen nobody since.I was prescribed Metformin 2 tablets morning and night.I have been getting reading anywhere between 17-9 are these ok? Thanks

17mmol/L is a high reading for sure. 9mmol/L is also too high but closer to where you need to be. Have a look at this information on target BGL ranges:

Have your diabetic team (nurse, Dr, dietician, etc) not requested to see you since your initial consult upon diagnosis? Also, have you been given a meter to test and supply them with your levels at all - or did you buy one because you were curious?
