Please could someone tell me.. when you have taken your blood b4 you eat is it supposed to go up or down after waiting the hour after finishing eating
 
Your reading one hour after a meal will be higher than the corresponding pre meal reading.

Ideally you want your reading two hours after the meal to be no more than 2mmol higher than your before meal reading.
