Thanks.
19 days is pretty good going! I'm a little disappointed though to learn that the transmitter is only guaranteed for 6 months, no matter how often it is used. Potentially double the cost for a year.
Yes, really it´s a down side. Seven plus was a very good system (I´m using now, I have my reserves), with a transmitter last 2 or 3 years.
A transmitter, at 450 euros (370GBP in uk) every year, it´s a lot. Yes, it has better range, g4 has nice screen (but bad readable outside) with nice colours... but they do the same. Really, not big difference. I don´t like the big size for G4 transmitter, we have to carry it on our body always.
personally, at seven plus systems, I always get 2 weeks for each sensor... but I have friends get 4 weeks or more... and too some people (sports) only 8-9 days.
I noticed that sensor life is related to flat or peaks... if I have a very good control with flat arrow and graphic (not common in my case) sensor lasts more... and with double arrows, up, down.... it lasts less.
I can´t live without it now. For me... is the biggest advance in diabetes, I was after 11 years with hba near to 10... only dexcom, NO MORE (no diet, change habits, ...) down to 7.5. Perfect (not perfect, but considering I´m doing normal "life" it´s ok).
