I made a subject access request and now have the imaging on a CD.
I have mine too. My request wasn't related to the research, but something else.

Ooooh. I’m going to ask again. At the time I asked for the files which I was told would be an issue. Now I know you’ve got yours it makes asking again so much easier. Thanks!! ( I won’t bug them for a day or two as I’ve only just posted back the 24 hr blood pressure monitor. )
Phew! They didn’t ask me to - and that was back in February!
I get your drift and agree. I’ll forget about it for a good few weeks then get back on the case. Thanks for your thoughts….How we ask can be as useful as what we ask. It's all "words" but those can make one helluva difference to how the request is received and actioned. Such as "I was assured that if I waited *****days for you to get the results in, I could have a copy". The people who action the clerical stuff are way down the food chain, probably very overworked and unlikely to object to such a simple request.
