hi im a type 1 i find that i have to inject 1 unit of novorapid to lower my blood sugar by 1mmol i weight about 86kg and 5ft10 and im on levemir does anyone else here have to to inject 1unit to lower there sugar by 1mmol??

Mines about 1 unit for 2.5mmol, but my insulin doses are quite low

I have to in the morning because I have bad insulin resistance then but other than that I do 1 unit for 3mmol

1 unit correction drops me between 3-5mmol depending on time of day/activity

1 unit drops my bg levels by around 2.5mmol.

Depends on time of day. In the early morning I find 1u drops me 5mmol/l. Post breakfast, once my body is either carb loaded or has protein to make carbs, I'm at 1u:3mmol.

1u drops me 2u though my ratios for covering carbs change throughout the day. Oddly the correction never seems to alter which is just weird as far as I am concerned.

I'm a 1-1 on correction doses. I'm on fairly large doses of insulin and ratios of 4-1 in the morning 3-1 lunch and tea.

I'm new to carb counting but I think it makes sense.
