Type 2 Cough & Cold Remedies

Can I ask what proprietry cough and cold remedies can I safely take ? e.g. Lemsip etc
 
Not sure which products are suitable for people with diabetes (maybe ask your Pharmacist), usually with a cold I just take paracetamol and drink plenty of fluids, to clear the head/chest Olbas oil in a bowl of hot water (with a towel over the head) does the trick every-time for me.
