Hi my husband is type 2 on insulin for a couple of years he’s had a cough on and off had X-ray 2 years ago all clear but then it went to constant throat clearing now it’s coughing all the time is this diabetes related?

It's not something associataed with diabetes as far as I know.
However, is he by any chance on ACE inhibitors to help blood pressure? It's a common side effect.

In any case, if the last time he's had his cough checked out was two years ago I would contact a doctor again on this.
