Hi Famfitz,
i know that a lot of the childrens liquid remedies have a lot of glucose in them which isn't maybe the best when your son has a bad cold with probably higher than normal sugars. There are some that are sugar free if they are they usually have sugar free on the front quite clearly but you can always tell by reading the label on the back. if your son is to small or can't swallow tablets there's dissolvable paracetamol which can taste a bit nicer if made up with sugar free squash. If you have to go out to get something ask the pharmasist for help chosing the best one. keep a close eye on his blood sugars and hopefully he'll feel better soon.
This is his first time being ill since being dianosed last month, his blood sugars are mainly up so far so lots of fluid also have those cool strips on his head.
Hi absolutely avoid anything with glycerin in, you can get sugar free paracetemol, I haven't seen sugar free neurofen yet, I would ask the pharmacist to be on the safe side.
