Could a type one diabetic become a vegan?

Seems a stupid question, but I'm just wanting to know if it could work or not?
I'm not interested in becoming one - just wondering
 
Type 1 shouldn't affect anyone becoming a vegan

Vegans avoid all animal products, but can still eat a variety of foods. As long as they carb count, then they should be fine
