Hello
I found this site after searching for a clue as to what the horrible smell is that I seem to be exuding from my body!
For some time now I have had uncontrollable high blood pressure, chest pains, very thirsty to the point of my mouth goes so dry it hurts, even under my tongue. I feel dizzy and disorientated and have really bad tinitus. I have dreadful difficulty in getting any sleep and have odd twitching in my leg muscles. My memory is awful and I have terrible shakes, they are so bad sometimes my fingers just tap uncontrollably on the keyboard. My thermostat is up the creak and I have terrible sweats then am cold. I am on HRT after a total hysterectome so I don't think it's that. I'm even having trouble doing things. I have to concentrate realy hard and my writing gets a bit dsylexic. I have to talk my way through writing and simple tasks. Not a good thing for a writer! I feel so ill and not at all normal, like I'm drunk and haven't touched a drop. I went on the bus to the shop the other day and the people must have thought I was an escaped nutter.
I first noticed the smell when my husband and I were staying at my dad's, who's a vegetarian. I thought it was his diet. Now we are in our own house it is still there and smells as if it is oozing from every pore and orifice. It's a really weird smell I can't describe. My husband can't smell it, but then his sense of smell has been impaired following coma after a head injury as a teenager!
I have recently had a the two tests for heart problems. The first to speed up your heart and have radioactive stuff injected followed by xray and MRI and the other to have the rest scan with just the radioactive stuff. I have to wait 10 days for results.
I did have a blood test for just about everything to see what might be wrong and my blood sugar was 9 and my calcium was low. I had a fast test which I think was 3~. I have had a bout of thrush recently too. I have had a great deal of stress to deal with and we thought it might be down to this. But after finding your site, I am wondering if indeed it is a diabetic problem. I just want to be normal. I sound like a right hypo but I want it all to go away. Any ideas would be greatly apreciated. I'm 52 if that is relative.
Thank you in advance
Gwenda
